An Ongoing Education

Thomas Carlyle wrote:

"What we become depends on what we read after the teachers have finished with us."

He went on to say, “The greatest University is a collection of books.”

You see it’s what you learn after you know it all that really counts.

Understand this. A formal education can get you a living. An ongoing education can get you a life.

The life that you want to live, the life of your dreams is within reach but it’s calling for an ‘ongoing’ education.

What I'm saying is that if you'll get the text books, listen to the audio tapes, hear the sermons, engage in personal conversation, if you'll read and study and grow you can change, and when you change your whole life will explode into change.

Did you realize that there are books on how to become a better parent, how to become a better speaker, how to unlock your dynamic personality?

Are you aware that super-successful business people, those who’ve built empires are willing to share what they’ve learned over a lifetime with you ? If you’re willing to study and learn from others you can short circuit the process of trial and error.

If you’re looking for an investment tip, let me give you my best shot. Invest in yourself! Do that and you've started a whole new process called a whole ‘new life.’

The plans, the blueprints to build your successful life are in books and one book could save you 15 years of worry and pain and frustration.

Your teachers are waiting at your local bookstore, they're at sites online... If you’re tight for cash they’re waiting at your local library.

They’re waiting to instruct you, to educate you, to transform your thinking.

Commit to reading 20 minutes a day... Or 40 minutes a day... Depending on how wealthy you want to become.

It seems that we've got Mac Donald's, KFC, Subways and Hungry Jacks on the schedule... But what about mind food?

Your education didn’t stop the day you stopped school.
