Some time ago I heard a guy say:
"There are two ways to have the tallest building in town. One, spend your life knocking everything and everyone around you down so that you’re the only thing left standing, or two, go to work on improving and developing yourself.
Sad but true, so many people spend all of their lives knocking and running others down – it’s a full time job – a lifelong quest that often means they don't have much time left to go to work on improving themselves.
There are those, however, who choose to invest their time and energy into developing and improving themselves and then others.
In my opinion committing to the second approach enables one to travel so much further in life than the first.
We can become so busy improving ourselves that we just don’t have the time to criticise others.
This is what personal development is all about.
