I know this world is ruled by infinite intelligence. Everything that surrounds us – everything that exists – proves that there are infinite laws behind it. There can be no denying this fact. It is mathematical in its precision.
– Thomas A. Edison
To say that there’s no source of intelligence behind creation is sort of like suggesting that the whole Oxford Dictionary came about after an explosion in a print factory.
I personally find it very difficult to believe in ‘no creator’. I find it much easier to accept the signature of extraordinary wisdom.
How long has it been since you gazed upwards at the stars?
Amazing isn’t it.
How about watching the waves rolling on in? Pretty awesome hey?
The spiritual aspect of our self involves the core of who we really are.
It entails our commitment to eternal values and inner beliefs.
The reason why this area is significant is that we are not human beings trying to have a spiritual experience; rather, we are spiritual beings trying to have a human experience.
Personally, I draw great strength from the Scriptures.
For me the Bible is unlike any other book. It’s a spiritual book.
Listen to a couple of gems from Solomon, "Where there is no vision the people perish." "As you think in your heart, so you are." "As you sow that shall you reap.”
Martin Luther, a man of great spiritual fervour said, “I have so much to do today, I’ll need to spend another hour on my knees.”
Prayer can actually be a great source of power – It can help you achieve more in less time!
Mother Teresa, Albert Einstein, Abraham Lincoln and so many others benefited greatly from the power of prayer. God is no respecter of persons. Their God is available to you.
It seems that when everything’s going great we tend to party, when not, we tend to ponder.
I’ve discovered that spending a bit of time in prayer when things are going good, charges me up so that I can better handle whatever challenges may come.
... So when all else fails pray. Pray with faith. In fact, I’ve got to the place now where I don’t believe in miracles... I depend on them!
Nowadays life moves at a blistering pace.
It’s important to take time out - To relax.
Relax... Be still. Wait on God and let Him lead you.
Draw peace from His presence daily.
We all have faults and those who do not forgive destroy the bridge over which they themselves must cross... We are all in need of forgiveness.
Jesus Christ taught methods of human existence that will work when worked. He went around telling people not to worry, to forgive and to believe that all things are possible. He is the way, the truth and the life.
My good friend Bill Newman created a great video called The Gift. It’s well worth a look.
