A well-known maxim suggests, "Knowledge is power". But the fact is, you could have all the knowledge in the world - a whole set of encyclopaedias. If you were unable to apply this knowledge, however, it would be worthless to you - it could produce no results. Knowledge is only potential power.
You now know that you hold the power of choice. You understand the power of perception. You know "how to" define your mission and "how to" use your imagination, belief and emotion for empowerment.
Add to this you've created specific plans for the achievement of each of your goals.
All of that to say this: knowing what to do is not enough. You must do what you know! Plenty of people have had the same information. They've read the same books. They've been to the same seminars. Nevertheless, the ones who have created success in their life are the ones who took action!
Some people set a goal in the physical development area to lose weight, but then they want to lose it in their sleep!
If you've set a financial development goal to produce another $20 000, standing in the Gold Lotto queue is not paying the price to seize it!
To achieve any goal, you must be willing to do what it takes! You must now take massive action TNT - Today Not Tomorrow - based upon your carefully designed plan of attack.
"The only place you'll find success before work is in the dictionary." - May V. Smith
I am convinced the main reason people never reach their full potential in life is they're unwilling to pay the price. Most claim ambition, they claim to have a desire to succeed, but deep down within they're unwilling to step into the wheelbarrow and away from the crowd.
Perhaps the greatest enemy of those seeking success is the fear of failure.
"Courage is resistance to and mastery of fear - not the absence of fear." - Mark Twain
If you fear jumping off the Sydney Harbour Bridge tethered by nothing more than a glorified rubber band, fear may actually be of some benefit to you.
Nevertheless, 95% of your fears can be dismissed as merely a waste of energy and human resources.
A study conducted by the University of Michigan revealed the following:
Therefore, the vast majority of the fears we face every day are not even based on facts!
Worry, a cousin of fear, is like a rocking chair, it keeps you moving but never gets you anywhere!
If you are worried about the future, you bring worry into the moment and into your reality.
If you are worried about something that has already happened, you bring the worries of your past into your present where you experience them all again.
As attack is the best form of defence, if you're worried about money problems, take courageous action.
Get out there and take action based upon your plans!
If you are worried about your weight problem, start walking! You've created your weight-loss plan. Now act on it!
Rather than wasting the present with all kinds of immobilising trepidation, defeat fear and worry by taking courageous action NOW!
